On April 30th, I ran the Thanksgiving Point tulip festival 5K. It was beautiful morning, and it was a fun course, I had previous ran the tulip festival half marathon a few years back, and was taken back by the hilly course. I was actually pretty excited that I was only running the 5K vs the half marathon this time around. I really think I will be sticking with 5K and 10K's for the time being...they are so fun, yet still rewarding. I surprised myself by running it in 32 minutes..which is about 10 min miles...
