Principle Pride Award

Allie was given the Principle Pride award at school this past week. Her teacher nominated her for the work she did on the assignment of writing a letter to Santa.  The principal awards them with gift certificates to several restaurants for a free kids meal as well as a coin to use in the coin machine for a prize at the school office.

Here is the letter that Allie wrote to Santa. I seriously love how she wrote a thank you card instead of asking him for the things she wanted. That made me feel warm and fuzzy inside to see my little girl's gratitude.

The next day, Allie had her Christmas sing-a-long at her school. She was super excited to sing for grandma TT and us. She did a great job and was so excited to get a handmade scarf from her teacher Mrs. Hartle for Christmas. They all wore their scarfs for the sing-a-long with their name on it.
