Allie turns 7

My sweet Allie Bug turned 7 today. I remember her being a baby, like it was yesterday. Holding my new baby for the first time, as a new mommy. It was a moment that changed my life forever. Allie is kind, compassionate, loves being an older sister and is a good friend. She is soft spoken, yet can talk your ear off. She is a high achiever, when it comes to school, and wants to do her very best. She is good at soccer, dance and gymnastics. She can make friends with a stranger in a matter of seconds. I'm so very blessed to be this little girls mommy. We love you Allie Bug!

One of the fun things the kids look forward to each year on their birthday is a decorated bedroom door and a banner that we put up in the kitchen with balloons welcoming their birthday. Allie had trouble sleeping the night of the birthday, in anticipation of her big day. She kept coming out of her room asking if it was time to wake up yet. The poor girl maybe slept for 3 hours, so she was exhausted by the time it was 8PM.

Allie's 7th Birthday presents

Allie loves seeing the card her daddy makes her every year.
This year, it was Barbie. We all had our faces on a character doll.

Allie loves brownies...and that is what she chose for her Birthday breakfast

For Allie's birthday, Naomi and I went to her school and brought Allie her birthday lunch. It was fun to have lunch with her and spend a few minutes as recesses with her and her friends.

That night, after gymnastics, we took her and the family to get a milk shake and to see the
"Christmas in Color" a light show that you drive thru that has music that is synced to the lights.

It was about a mile long, located in Kearns, The kids thought it was EPIC!  SO, maybe the pricey $20 for maybe 20 minutes was worth it!
