We went up to Brighton after our hike to Bloods Lake and took the easy stroll around a beautiful Silver lake at Brighton Ski Resort, at the top of Big Cottonwood Canyon. From the trailhead parking, a boardwalk extends out into a meadow and then along the lake shoreline.
On the far side of the lake the path becomes dirt but is well-maintained and easy to follow.
