This past Sunday, for our church history adventure, we took the kids downtown to the Beehive house.
The Beehive House was built between 1853 and 1855 and served as home to Brigham Young when he was President of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and governor of the Utah Territory. They offer free 20 minute tours every day of the week, and the sister missionaries conduct the tours.
The kids loved seeing inside the house and the different rooms and items that belonged to Brigham Young when he lived there. We then walked around temple square and took pictures of the beautiful gardens.
