Bear Lake

Every summer we spend a week up in Bear Lake at Tim's family cabin. Bear Lake is
one of the most beautiful lakes in Utah. The brightly colored blue water is crystal clear  and truly breathtaking.
The first day we get up there we spend the day at the beach. Tim's other siblings are not too fond of the beach, so it is just our family that goes to the beach. My kids love playing in the sand. Mason loves to get dirty and make sand castles with Tim. Allie loves the water. She is my little fish. We brought up some sand toys, a water tube and enjoyed the beach for that day. I haven't always loved the sand, but over the years since having kids, I really have just come to love it because of the love they have for it,

The next day we spent on the boats. Tim's dad has a boat, and so does his sister Julie and her family. It make it nice to have two boats with the amount of people we have. We can all be on the boats at the same time. The weather this year was a little over cast. We enjoyed the time we spent out on the lake, but it was hit and miss with the rain clouds this year. The storms up in Bear Lake are unpredictable and can come on so fast. The last day of boating we were out only 1 hour before it started raining and the winds started, which caused the waves to get high. That always makes me nervous. The kids loved swimming in the lake, and this year Tim's dad rented the large trampoline that sits in the lake. The kids had a blast sliding down the slide and jumping on the tramp in the lake.

Tim ended up losing his wedding ring while trying to catch a flying life jacket that went flying out of the boat. The ring went right along with it. He was so bummed. He just kept saying how it was more about the sentimental value of the ring than it was about the value of the ring. He never has taken off that ring since the day we married. Not for anything.

We took Naomi into the insta care since she was not eating. We thought it could be a ear infection. it turned out it was just the cold virus. All was well with her ears!
