She was a great example of such strength and determination and overcoming many huge challenges in her life. She got married and raised a baby girl, Alexis, who was my side kick since the day she was born. I'm grateful to know she is free from all those struggles as well as the physical challenges that came with being in a wheelchair and suffering from the horrible disease of ALS, that eventually took her life. She was beautiful, fun and very out-going.
