The home building process

A few days after Mason was home from the hospital we started on the home building! The plan and design we decided on was a two story home with a walk out basement. The home will have 3 bedrooms on the top floor with a kids loft(TV/toy room), a computer desk, and 1 Full Bathroom. The main floor will have the master bed room and bath, an office, mudroom, laundry room, a half bathroom, family and dinning room and kitchen. The basement will have another bedroom, lots of storage space, a future exercise room,a future family room, craft room and kitchenette. The first dig began on Tuesday, August 13th! This kids were able to go with Tim and I to the lot. The excavator let Tim have Allie and Mason in the machine with him, as they dug the first hole for the footings! What a excitement for our family! It really started to feel real, at that moment!
