Hayes Tough

On January 19, 2016, Hayes, who is my little brothers (Steve Tate) 10 month triplet boy, was diagnosed with Choroid Plexus Carcinoma, an extremely rare form of cancer that affects 1 in 3 million people. He is a warrior and he is fighting hard.

The Holladay community put together a 5K run/walk to raise money for the chemo treatments that he is going through. This has been one of the hardest trials that my little brother has faced. It's so hard to see such a little baby go through so much. My heart breaks for him and his parents. It is my greatest prayer, desire and wish to see Hayes be cured of this horrible disease. It was down right amazing to see the love and support for this one little boy at the 5K event. I am in awe of the goodness of so many people, strangers, friends and family who have prayed, fasted and shown so much love.

My childhood best friend Heidi Peterson Hastleton came to run the the 5k

This picture brings me to chills. Seeing both the Tate family and the Thompson family unite and run through the finish line together on behalf of fighting this fight as a team
